Se il destino li ha fatti incontrare, una ragione profonda li ha uniti indissolubilmente: il bisogno di arte come strumento di coinvolgimento emotivo, rispetto e comprensione del dettato compositivo, libero da ogni forma di condizionamento che ne alteri il valore.\u00a0Lungo il sentiero di un\u2019amicizia divenuta sempre pi\u00f9 intima, la comune matrice abruzzese e le affinit\u00e0 artistiche hanno reso fecondo quel solido background culturale e professionale su cui poggia il continuo e reciproco affinamento dei mezzi espressivi ed intellettuali: le lezioni di perfezionamento con i Maestri della grande tradizione del Belcanto e la lunga attivit\u00e0 di interprete nella Musica Lirica e da Camera e di docente di Canto per il baritono Luigi Fontana; l\u2019entusiasmo esecutivo e l\u2019attivit\u00e0 di promozione per il Teatro Lirico e la Musica Vocale da Camera, temprata sugli austeri studi musicali ed universitari nonch\u00e9 sull\u2019attivit\u00e0 didattica e di ricerca, per il pianista Mauro Maria Pettinelli. Un contesto di esperienze che trova nell\u2019assiduit\u00e0 dello studio d\u2019assieme l\u2019ideale pendant per approfondire e rendere sempre nuova la lettura di quei capolavori che nobilitano il genere della musica vocale in tutte le sue forme: originale simbiosi di arte, etica professionale ed impegno quotidiano, che porta il suggello di una dedizione completa ed appassionata.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If it was fate that brought them together, they have become inseparably united for a deeply significant reason: because of the need for art as an instrument of emotional involvement, an art that understands and respects the message dictated by the composition, freeing it from any form of conditioning which would distort its meaning.\u00a0<\/em>As the years have passed and they have become ever closer friends, the Abruzzese background they have in common and the artistic sensibilities they share have reaped the harvest sown by the substantial cultural and professional education they have received, which has allowed them continually to refine their mutual intellectual perceptions and their reciprocal means of expression: an education comprising, in the case of Luigi Fontana (baritone), training with the masters of bel canto and long experience as an interpreter of musica lirica and of vocal chamber music, and as a teacher of singing; and, in the case of Mauro Maria Pettinelli (pianist), consisting of enthusiasm for the performance and promotion of teatro lirico and of vocal chamber music, tempered by the serious study of music at university and by teaching and further research.\u00a0<\/em><\/span>A background of experience which finds an ideal counterpart in the diligence of collaborative study, thereby enabling them to read together with fresh eyes and with ever deeper insight those masterpieces which ennoble the genre of vocal music in all its forms: an original synthesis of art, professional ethics and day-to-day commitment which bears the hallmark of total, ardent dedication.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Il Duo Ausonia non limita la propria opera alla mera esecuzione di brani tratti dal repertorio vocale secondo una tradizione ormai consolidata, ma\u00a0spinge i propri passi verso l’attuazione di una modalit\u00e0 di ricezione che trasformi la creazione musicale in un prodotto culturale pi\u00f9 comprensibile e, dunque, pi\u00f9 godibile. Forte di competenze ed esperienze pregresse, si presta a valorizzare con entusiasmo le formule della lezione-concerto e del laboratorio lirico, pi\u00f9 adatte a favorire il coinvolgimento attivo degli utenti: formule che ricorrono a strategie informative, educative, ludiche capaci di stimolare la curiosit\u00e0, evolvere il senso critico, sollecitare l’ascolto attento.\u00a0<\/em>Inoltre, si rende disponibile a modulare il proprio organico con l\u2019innesto di nuovi elementi (voci e strumenti) in grado di dar vita a forme di spettacolo \u201cmultiplo\u201d e di soddisfare le finalit\u00e0 particolari di eventuali eventi artistici: condizioni indispensabili l\u2019assoluta preparazione tecnico-professionale, lo spirito di sacrificio nell\u2019affrontare sistematiche prove di studio, la voglia di crescere insieme per obiettivi comuni. Non si sottraggono, per questa ragione, a instaurare rapporti di collaborazione con quanti, manager dello spettacolo in particolare, siano allineati sulle medesime prospettive.<\/em>Infine, in armonia con le esigenze di committenti o produttori interessati, offre il proprio impegno ad iniziative discografiche e multimediali che si prefiggono di dar lustro alla cultura musicale e ai suoi generi attraverso soluzioni innovative ed originali.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Ausonia Duo does not restrict its work merely to the performance of pieces taken from the repertoire of vocal music established by tradition, but reaches out to attain a more readily accessible form of expression, thus transforming the creation of music into a cultural product that lends itself to greater comprehension and hence also to greater enjoyment.\u00a0 Drawing on its accumulated store of experience and expertise, it is keen to exploit the twin formats of lyrical workshop and concert-lesson, which are more conducive to the active involvement of the participants: formats which make use of strategies of information, education and play which can stimulate curiosity, develop a critical faculty and promote attentive listening.\u00a0<\/em>The Ausonia Duo is, moreover, ready and willing to vary its composition by incorporating additional elements (other singers and instrumentalists), so as to be able to stage multiform performances and to meet the\u00a0 particular requirements of artistic events to which it is invited to contribute by calling on its indispensable resources of thorough technical and professional preparation, the willingness to submit to rigorous studio tests and the will to grow and develop together in pursuit of shared goals. For this reason it is open to the possibility of collaboration with all those (especially musical and artistic directors) who approach the art of performance in like fashion.\u00a0<\/em>Lastly, to meet the requirements of those who commission and produce\u00a0 such works, it offers its commitment to recording initiatives and multi-media ventures which aim to enhance musical culture in its various forms by the application of original and innovative solutions.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
